LR 1400/2 Sarens

I came across this LR 1400/2 for the first time in Amsterdam during the construction of a new railway station.

The crane was here to lift roofpieces.

Because these pieces have to be lifted at a large radius and the crane had to slew with the load the crane was fitted with superlift and superlift-car.

About a month later I saw the same crane again, this time during the construction of windmills.

At the moment I was there a towersection was lifted, helping crane to rotate the section was this CX 700.
